Transit of Mercury

Sunshine all day (12.2 kWh), and Admin1 was able to project the image of Mercury crossing the disc. Mercury is the small dot near the bottom. The other spots are sunspots, and the large faint rings are optical artefacts.

Sunshine

The solar panels did over 12 kWh today; the earliest time in the year to ever reach that output. We think it is because the new roof is a few inches thicker and the panels are really clean. It was also our warmest day this year so far.
